String Trio (2 Violins and Cello)
In the trio, the third player is able to fill in some of the inner harmony that is missing from a duo. The sound is less full and more transparent than the usual string quartet (as to be expected from having one less player) but it is a very affordable option. By special request we can substitute a flute or oboe for one of the violins (if that would be meaningful to someone in the wedding party). This versatile group has repertoire especially arranged for this combination to cover all your needs ranging from Baroque and Classical to lighter pop standards. A trio is a great solution for smaller spaces.
